GREEN (Start)
Competition has begun.
YELLOW (Caution)
Drivers must slow down and proceed with caution. A Course Marshal shall display a yellow flag only when there is an immediate danger within a reasonably close distance beyond the corner that drivers need to be aware of before reaching it. No other personnel on the course shall display a yellow flag unless directed by the Event Steward due to race track conditions.
RED (Stop)
All vehicles must stop at the Start/Finish line and remain in their current order. The race clock is stopped until competition resumes. The red flag may also be displayed at 62:00 to confirm that the race is over.
BLUE WITH YELLOW STRIPE (Passing)
The vehicle is being overtaken. On a road course, the driver must drive predictably. On an oval or velodrome, the driver must move to the innermost portion of the track to allow the passing vehicle to pass.
BLACK (Pit)
The vehicle must stop in the pits. A furled black flag may be displayed by the Event Steward as a warning for a minor violation that does not create a safety issue and can be corrected while the vehicle remains on the track, such as poor driving. A full black flag requires the vehicle to enter the pits.
WHITE (Two Minutes)
Two minutes remain in the competition. The white flag is displayed from 58:00 through 59:59.
CHECKERED (Finish)
Competition is over. The checkered flag is displayed from 60:00 through 62:00. After crossing the finish line, vehicles must pull off the track.
