If an event must be cancelled before competition begins, notify Electrathon America and the insurance provider by email and, when possible, by telephone before the scheduled race. Provide the reason for the cancellation, such as weather or unsafe track conditions.
Insurance Cancellation or Transfer
Insurance coverage may be eligible for reimbursement or transfer to another date only if the race has not begun. This includes warm-ups, practice sessions, and driver testing.
If any racing, practice, warm-up, or driver testing has begun and the event is subsequently cancelled, the event insurance has been used. A rescheduled event will require new insurance coverage.
If the event has not begun, full reimbursement or transfer of coverage may be available provided the insurance provider receives written notice documenting the cancellation condition before race day.
For a rescheduled event, submit a new Sanction Your Race Event form.
