Electrathon America believes prize money should be distributed among all participating vehicles based on performance. A “winner take all” approach is not in the best interest of the sport.
Any excess entry fee revenue remaining after event expenses should be distributed as prize money, in addition to any prize money provided by sponsors.
All prize money or cash awards shall be distributed among participants on a per-lap basis. Non-cash awards, including trophies, plaques, certificates, and product prizes, may be awarded at the discretion of the event promoter or sponsor. Awards may recognize performance, sportsmanship, or educational achievement.
Payouts should be distributed to vehicle owners as soon as possible after the event.
