Vehicle-to-vehicle contact is contrary to the principles of Electrathon competition. Intentional contact with another vehicle shall result in an immediate black flag and disqualification.
Drivers shall remain aware of surrounding vehicles and shall drive predictably. Repeatedly cutting off another vehicle, taking a line away from a faster vehicle, or other negligent driving behavior shall result in an immediate black flag and removal of the offending driver. The vehicle may continue with an alternate driver who meets all requirements to compete in the event.
A vehicle traveling at less than one-half of its original speed may be removed from competition at the discretion of the Event Steward if the vehicle is determined to be a safety hazard.
Any vehicle that loses driver ballast weights onto the track shall be immediately black flagged and disqualified.
