Leaning Vehicles

Leaning vehicles are permitted provided the driver is not required to balance the vehicle and the vehicle meets all stability requirements.
The leaning mechanism must be actuated by a mechanical device. The driver must not be required to use their body or direct physical effort to maintain the vehicle’s balance.
A leaning vehicle must have a means of mechanically locking the leaning mechanism in a stable position to allow the driver to safely enter and exit the vehicle.
