Dave Cloud

In January of 2018, one of the early founders of Electrathon America "Dave Cloud" passed away from cancer. He and his family made significant contributions to Electrathon America by influencing vehicle and event rules, building competitive vehicles and hosting events. With countless national and track records over the years, he set the pace for the most efficient and fastest cars on the track. His works reached into electric vehicle racing from drag racing boats and cars, to street legal cars and motorcycles. He changed the lives of many people young and old, by inspiring and mentoring others. Electrathon America honored him by naming the 2018 Portland International Raceway event after him and by posting a tribute article on our main page for all of 2018. He will be missed.
